Les Milandes were originally owned by the American cabaret artist Josephine Baker whose home was the Chateau des Milandes. She conquered Paris in the twenties and thirties with "la Revue Negre".
With the Chateau des Milandes forming a spectacular backdrop and its breathtaking views over the Dordogne, Les Milandes offers a 6 bed manor house with a pool, a 3 bedroom property with views and a pool, a 2 bedroom cottage and 2 bedroom gatekeepers cottage. All are set in a wonderful location in one of the most picturesque regions of France - so please Enquire or BOOK NOW.

There are three charming and substantial properties which have been sympathetically restored to offer a high standard of accommodation and facilities, either for individual families or jointly amongst friends.

Near to Sarlat, Domme and Les Eyzies in the Perigord Noir, Les Milandes is ideally situated both to explore the wealth of local history and culture or simply to relax and enjoy the river or swimming pools. The Dordogne is famous for such specialities as foie gras and truffles as well as its local and neighbouring vineyards and there are many restaurants nearby to enjoy.

"We fell in love with Les Milandes whilst staying in the Maison de Gardien in 2001 and were lucky enough to become its new owners in the following year. To us, it is a very special place both for the beauty of the Dordogne area and also for its unique feeling of timelessness, tranquillity and well-being.

Our wish is that all who stay with us, both friends, family and guests, experience a little of the magic of the Dordogne that exists at Les Milandes"
