We are opening!
It has been several months since we last wrote a blog and what a turbulent and uncertain time it has been for us all! We very much hope you and your families have kept healthy and well in this strange and unprecedented period.
We have been reviewing and monitoring Government advice closely during this time. As lockdown starts to ease, we are delighted to announce that we will be open from 11th July for the summer season at Les Milandes as the quarantine restrictions to France from England will be dropped, coming into force on 10th July.
Twinned with numerous travel options, this makes France and the Dordogne one of the easiest destinations to travel abroad to from England. For those not wishing to fly, ferry crossings are resuming or the Eurotunnel is an ideal option for quickly reaching France.
The beautiful rolling rural landscape of the Dordogne is a wonderful location for a restorative break following the difficult last few months. Cafes and restaurants have been able to reopen (with social distancing measures in place) and the area has lots to offer in terms of outdoor activities.
We are so excited to be opening and very much look forward to welcoming our 2020 guests to Les Milandes! We do have some remaining availability for the season so please do visit our Bookings page.
